Malfunctions and troubleshooting

Roller clamp of tubing
set is closed
Non conform tube set (Not
from Nouvag or from
Nouvag but wrong type)
Pedal not connected
Incorrect operation
Motor is missing
Motor fault or motor cable
is broken
AS limit reached with an
instrument
Solution
Set the
power switch "I/O"
to "I"
Connect the control unit to the
mains power supply
Replace the fuse
Main switch "I/O" to "O"
position; after 10 sec. to "I"
again.
Switch on the motor using the
treadplate
Connect the motor cable to the
control unit
Press the handpiece firmly onto
the electronic motor until it
clicks into position and check
that it is secure by moving it
slightly in the opposite direction.
Switch on the peristaltic pump
Insert tubing set correctly (note
the direction)
Replace the tubing set
Open the ventilation filter at the
drip chamber
Replace the tubing set
Open roller clamp all the way
Use the tube set recommended
by Nouvag
Connect the pedal to the control
unit
Check operating instructions
Connect the motor
Check motor and its cable
Release pedal and press again
