SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES
A shield plate is included in the scope of supply of the 5 – 50 kW
braking units. When using shielded control cables or a shielded cable
for the external braking resistor, the shield of these cables can be
connected to the shield plate. This plate is also used for strain relief.
The shield plate is mounted via two bolts and the nuts supplied on the
bottom of the braking unit as shown in Fig. 3-2.
