1 NOTE: If the device is not working as
required, check the error message displayed
in the 7-segment display. If necessary,
contact the KARL STORZ Service.
Cause
Parameters could not be saved successfully.
Motor control overloaded.
Hardware configuration is incorrect.
Software configuration is incorrect.
Motor on channel 1 is defective.
Footswitch not connected correctly.
No motor/handpiece connected.
Motor/handpiece on channel 1 overheated
The motor/handpiece connected on channel 1 is not
supported.
Motor/handpiece on channel 1 blocked in operation.

Remedy
Turn device on/off.
Load default values.
Or send device in for repair.
Turn device on/off.
Or send device in for repair.
Send device in for repair.
Send device in for repair.
Release footswitch and restart.
If the error persists, a different handpiece
must be used.
Connect footswitch.
If the error persists, check whether the
error is on the footswitch or device.
Send the defective component in for repair.
Connect motor/handpiece.
Allow the connected handpiece to cool
down or operate an additional handpiece
on the 2nd channel.
Only use handpieces approved by
KARL STORZ. A service update may be
necessary.
Release footswitch and restart.
If the error persists, clean the handpiece or
exchange the attachment.
