c) Switching on the wing model

So that the receiver can react to the signal transmitted, the receiver and the transmitter must have the same digital
coding (pairing). For this reason, it is important that you switch the quadrocopter on as described below.
Important!
There should be no other 2.4 GHz transmitters in the immediate vicinity during the switching on process.
Step 1: Now move the joystick for the pitch function (Fig-
ure 29, no. 5) to the lowest position = motor off position
(Figure 30).
Step 2: Hold the wing model so that the wings are horizon-
tal. The quadrocopter is now in a vertical position.
Important!
In this position, the quadrocopter electronics
recognise that the quadrocopter is inserted in
the wing model. It thereby blocks the unauthor-
ised control movements or the function of the
"STUNT" button.
Step 3: Use the on/off switch to switch on the quadrocop-
ter. To do this, slide the switch from the "OFF" position to
the "ON" position (Figure 31).
The three white LEDs on the quadrocopter will start to
flash. This indicates that the quadrocopter is waiting for
the transmitter signal.
Step 4: Now switch on the transmitter by briefly pressing
the on/off switch (see Figure 32, no. 4).
The transmitter emits a short beep and the LED indicator
light on the transmitter (Figure 29, no. 3) will start to flash.
The three white LEDs on the quadrocopter glow stead-
ily when the quadrocopter has detected the transmitter
signal.
Step 5: Move the joystick for the pitch function (Figure 32,
no. 5) to the highest position (full throttle). The transmitter
emits a short beep again.
Step 6: Move the joystick for the pitch to the lowest posi-
tion (motor off position) (see Figure 32, no. 6). The trans-
mitter emits a long beep and the LED indicator light on the
transmitter glows steadily.
The model aircraft is now ready for take-off and responds to the control commands of the transmitter.
Step 7: Briefly press the "2" button on the transmitter. Normal mode is enabled (recommended for wing model, oth-
erwise the steering is too sluggish).
