i) Beginner/normal switching

The remote control offers the possibility to customise the control sensitivity of the quadrocopters using two buttons
(dual rate function). The following modes are available:
• Beginner mode
Beginner mode is automatically enabled when the remote control transmitter is switched on. In this flight mode,
the quadrocopter responds less sensitively to the control commands from the transmitter and can therefore be
controlled very delicately. This mode is ideal for beginners flying the quadrocopter for the first time.
• Normal mode
In normal mode, the quadrocopter responds much more agilely to the transmitter control commands. For this rea-
son, this mode is ideal for advanced users.
Enabling the different flight modes:
When it is switched on, the transmitter is automatically in beginner mode.
To switch from beginner mode to normal mode, briefly press the "2" button (see Figure 9, no. 2). The transmitter emits
two short beeps to indicate that normal mode has been activated.
When the "1" button is pressed (see Figure 9, no. 1), the transmitter emits a beep and thus signals the switchover to
beginner mode.
j) Flip function
The quadrocopter is also designed to do flips, if desired. Your first flips should be done outside when there is abso-
lutely no wind. Let the quadrocopter ascend to a safe altitude of approx. 2 m and then hover in position.
To switch the transmitter to flip mode, press and hold down
the "STUNT" button (see also Figure 9, no. 4). The trans-
mitter will emit continuous beeps.
Now move the joystick for the bob and roll function quickly
as far as it will go in the direction in which the quadrocop-
ter should flip and immediately bring the joystick back to
the centre position. Release the "STUNT" button.
The quadrocopter will perform the flip in the desired direc-
tion.
To perform another flip, proceed as described above.
Important:
Continuous flips are not possible. If the battery
voltage is too low (LEDs on the quadrocopter
are flashing), the flip function is disabled.
