9. Charging the flight rechargeable battery

The flight rechargeable battery can be charged using the USB charging cable included.
Unwind the charging cable to its full length.
To charge the flight rechargeable battery, proceed as follows:
First, switch off the quadrocopter (switch position "OFF").
Connect the USB plug of the charging cable to a USB port of a computer/laptop or a USB charger plug.
Attention!
Do not connect the USB charging cable to a USB hub without its own power supply (e.g. a USB port on a
keyboard), as the current is not sufficient to charge the flight rechargeable battery.
The operating system does not detect any new hardware when the charging cable is connected as the USB
port is only used for charging. Please note that the USB ports on computers/laptop are normally only active
when the computer/laptop is turned on.
We therefore recommend that you only connect the charging cable to a computer/laptop that is switched
on.
Hold the top and bottom of the quadrocopter firmly with
two fingers.
Make sure the propellers are not compressed,
as these then run out-of-true and the quadro-
copter will not fly well.
Insert the round plug (1) of the USB charging cable into
the corresponding socket (2) below the on/off switch on
the quadrocopter. Do not use any force.
Charging starts automatically and the LED on the USB
plug lights up during charging.
When charging is complete and the flight rechargeable
battery is fully charged, the USB plug LED goes out.
Immediately after completion of the charging process, dis-
connect the charging cable from the quadrocopter and the
USB plug of the charging cable from the computer/laptop
or plug-in charger.
Important!
Only charge the flight rechargeable battery in
the quadrocopter using the included charging
cable. Never attempt to charge the recharge-
able battery in the quadrocopter with a different
or unsuitable charger!
