Switching functions

q Switching ON the appliance:
Switch ON the master switch,
(Fig. 4/1). When the doors are open,
the interior lights switch ON. The
current temperature in the freezer
compartment is displayed,
(Fig. 2/19) and the set temperature in
the refrigerator compartment is
displayed, (Fig. 2/20).
q Switching OFF the appliance:
If the ice maker is operating, remove
all ice cubes and switch OFF the ice
maker (press the

switch, (Fig. 4/1).
q Cleaning the appliance:
- Switch OFF the appliance (if longer
than 4 hours, all the ice must be
removed from the ice maker
beforehand)
- Pull out the mains plug
- Clean the appliance
- Insert the mains plug
- Then switch ON the appliance
again (see the chapter on
Cleaning the appliance")
q Separate left side (freezer
compartment, ice maker and
cool fresh" compartment)
a) Switching OFF the left side:
- Press the
(displays 2/19 and 2/20
