Note:
The lower light (Fig. z) illuminates
both the cool fresh" and refrigerator
compartments. Replace the lamp in the
refrigerator compartment (right side).
If the dispenser recess light does
not function
q The light switch (Fig. u/21) is
switched OFF.
q The incandescent bulb is defective.
Replacing the incandescent bulb
in the dispenser recess
q Pull out the mains plug
q Remove the bulb cover (Fig. u).
q Replace the 12 V incandescent bulb
(max. 2 watt), E14 lampholder.
q Re insert the bulb cover.
q Re insert the mains plug.

If you are unable to eliminate the fault by
yourself, having consulted the chapter
on Eliminating minor faults by
yourself", please call customer service.
Warning:
NEVER repair the appliance or the
electrical components by yourself!
Improper repairs may put the user
in considerable danger.
Until customer service arrives:
To prevent the temperature of the
appliance from increasing, do not open
the appliance door unless absolutely
necessary.

Eliminating minor
dispenser faults by
yourself
Water dispenser does not function
The inlet valve is closed.
The water pressure is too low.
Despite a prolonged operating time,
no ice cubes are dispensed.
Check that the freezer compartment and
cool fresh" compartment have been
switched ON (the
illuminate).
Ice cubes have jammed in the outlet
of the ice cube maker
Wait until the ice has melted.
Warning:
NEVER insert your fingers into
the ice dispenser opening (Fig. 5).
Keep the rating plate specifications
(Fig. i) at hand:
When calling customer service, please
quote:
- the product number (E Nr.) of the
appliance and
- the production number (FD Nr.)
of the appliance.
This information can be found on the
rating plate in the refrigerator
compartment at the bottom right hand
side (Fig. i).
