Observe safety procedures
when using the appliance
q If the appliance is switched OFF for
longer than 4 hours, all the ice must
be removed from the ice maker.
q In the following cases pull out the
mains plug or switch OFF the fuse:
a) Replacing the incandescent lamps
b) Cleaning the appliance
Do NOT pull out the plug by
tugging the mains cable.
q Repairs may only be performed
by qualified technicians. Improper
repairs may put the user in
considerable danger.
q NEVER use electrical appliances
inside the appliance (e.g. heater,
electric ice cream maker, etc.).
q Do NOT stand or support yourself
on the base, drawers or doors, etc.
q Bottles containing a high percentage
of alcohol must be sealed and stored
in an upright position only.
q NEVER store products which contain
flammable propellant gases (e.g.
aerosols) or explosive substances
in the appliance. Risk of explosion!
q Do NOT allow children to play
with the appliance! Fingers
could be injured if placed in
the ice dispenser opening.
Do NOT allow children to hide
in the appliance - Risk of
SUFFOCATION!
q If the appliance features a lock, keep
the key out of the reach of children!
q NEVER use a steam cleaner to clean
the appliance. Steam may come into
contact with live components in the
appliance and cause a short circuit
or an electric shock.

q Bottled or canned drinks (especially
carbonated beverages) must NEVER
be stored in the freezer compart
ment. Bottles and tins may explode
during the freezing process!
q Do NOT put ice lollies or ice cubes
directly from the freezer
compartment into your mouth. Risk
of burns from very low temperatures!
q NEVER touch frozen food with wet
hands. Your hands could freeze to
the food!
q Caution:
Do not put your fingers in the
ice dispensing opening. Fig 5
