Warning!
If the display (Fig. 2/19) has shown
a temperature greater than +3 °C,
then prepare a ready to serve meal
by cooking or frying the frozen food
and re freeze it.
Then no longer store it for the
maximum storage period.
If a power failure occurs the tem
perature of the frozen food rises to
approx. 3 °C without the freezer com
partment door being opened in
approx. 10 hours.
q Water flows out of the appliance
onto the floor
Melting ice has caused the
waste water container to overflow.
Cause:
A power failure occurred or the
appliance was disconnected from
the power supply for longer than 4
hours (see Switching OFF the ice
and cooled water dispensers" in the
chapter on Ice and cooled water
makers).
If the following messages are
displayed, (Figs. 2/19 and 2/20)
F43: Check whether the tap has been
turned on.
F50: Waste water alarm
(turn OFF water tap, call customer
service).
FIL:
Clean the dust filter.
The display automatically
illuminates approx. every
2 months. Check whether the
dust filter is dirty. If required,
clean (see Cleaning the
appliance" chapter).
The display goes out after
24 hours or when you press
the
button.
F75: The required temperature in
the freezer compartment is
not reached after several days.
If the interior lights do not function
The following causes are possible:
q Power failure has occurred
or a mains fuse has tripped.
q Incandescent bulbs are defective.
q The door was open too long (light
automatically switches OFF after
approx. 1 min.). After closing and
opening the door again, the bulbs
will switch ON again.
q The right or left side of the appliance
has switched OFF.
Replacing the
incandescent bulbs
Replacing the incandescent bulb
in the refrigerator, cool fresh" and
freezer compartments, (Figs. t, z)
q Pull out the mains plug
q Unscrew the bulb cover.
q Replace the incandescent bulb
(230 V, 50 Hz, max. 40 watt), E14
lampholder (do NOT use a bulb
with a higher wattage)
q Screw back the bulb cover.
q Re insert the mains plug.
