5.3.2 Models with pump.

- Check that the master switch is closed, the STOP
pushbutton is ON and (for water-condensed
versions only) the water tap is open.
- Lift the cover and pour the mixture into the tank
(max. 6 litres) at conservation temperature.
- To select the desired volume increase, make use
of the air damper placed on the pump casing as
follows: Screw down the notched knob until it
stops and subsequently unscrew it for split turns
(1/4 turn, ½ turn, ¾ turn, etc.) in order to adjust
the quantity of air to be added to ice-cream. The
less you unscrew the knob, the less is the
increase in the ice-cream volume; the greater you
unscrew the knob, the greater is the quantity of
air added to the ice-cream.
The changes in the ice-cream volume, after the
damper adjustment has been varied, will be evident
only after the complete renewal of ice-cream in the
mixing cylinder.
- Press the MIX pushbutton to allow the pump fill
the mixing cylinder with the batch.
- After about 1 minute, discharge excess air under
pressure by positioning a container under the tap
and slowly lowering the dispensing lever.
This operation facilitates the correct filling of the
mixing cylinder preventing icing, which could block
the agitator and cause an alarm condition.
- Reposition the cover on the tank and press the
PRODUCTION pushbutton to start the ice-cream
production.
- After a few minutes the consistency set is
reached and the machine automatically stops.
The ice-cream is ready to be dispensed.
- Press the START pushbutton and lower the
dispensing lever to draw the ice-cream out.
