6.4 Inclination adjustment of the seat unit
SIMPLY LIGHT is equipped with a gas spring adjustment for seat unit inclination
control� To adjust the seat unit inclination, proceed as follows:
Apply the parking brakes (see section 6�8�1)

Pull the gas spring release lever located on the right side of the handle

linkage�
Adjust the inclination of the seat unit by pulling up or pushing down while

keeping the release lever gas pressure spring pulled�
Let go of the release lever to lock the desired seat inclination position in

place�
If necessary, release the parking brakes (see section 6�8�2)

Important: Never operate the release lever
without holding the handle when a patient
is seated in the wheelchair� Before tilting,
always ensure that both anti-tip rolls point
towards the floor� On another version of
the SIMPLY LIGHT, the inclination of the
seat shell is adjusted by a telescope unit
(Photo 12)� Firstly, loosen the fixation of the
unit and move the telescope tube upward or
downward depending on how you want to adjust the inclination� Then fix the unit
again�
6.5 Adjustment of the handle
The handle (Photo 13) can be adjusted in
various ways� This makes an optimal adap-
tation to the person pushing the wheelchair
possible�
The following adjustments are possible:
6�5�1 A ngle adjustment of the upper

part of the handle
6�5�2 Height adjustment of the handle unit

6�5�3 I nclination adjustment of the handle unit with respect to the vertical

position
6.5.1 Angle adjustment of the upper part of the handle
To adjust the handle angle, proceed as follows:
Apply the parking brakes (see section 6�8�1)

