8. Assembling the model

Before you commence assembly, please read through each individual section. For better understanding, an illustration
has been included which represents the section of assembly described.
Please note that the numbers in the text always refer to the components in the illustration on the right.
Only carry out the works on the sections concerned when you have understood execution correctly and know exactly
what you have to observe when working.
a) Fitting the wing halves
• Before the wing halves (1) can be glued together, check whether the components fit. To this end, stick the wing
connecter (2) "dry" in one wing half and push the other wing half on it.
In order for both wing connectors to be evenly pushed into the right and left wings, it has proven to be
practical to apply a central marking on the connector.
• Both wings must fit on one another without a gap for a
correction assembly.
If this is the case, you can glue the wings together with
PVAC glue or 2-component epoxy resin.
• Until the glue is dry, secure the two wing halves with
some strips of adhesive film (3).
