n) Checking the barycentre

• The selected mounting position of the drive and remote
control components nearly automatically results in the
correct barycentre (1) with which the model is in balance
to the front and rear.
• Regardless of this, you will have to check the current
position of the barycentre on your model in any case.
It should lie within the range of 50 mm behind the nose
strip.
By applying lead weights at the end or front of the
fuselage, the barycentre can be moved specifically.
Our tip:
For these settings special barycentre levels are
provided, you can, however, easily construct a
respective device with some wooden bars (2).
Thin strips of wood or metal (3) prevent the foil being
pressed in on the underside of the wing.
