7.2 Sub-menu » Instrument «
The » Instrument « sub-menu can be used to make various instrument
settings.
7.2.1

Leakage mode

Prerequisite:
A PID sensor or a CatEx sensor which is set to CH
- This function is used to select a graphical display of the values
measured by one sensor instead of the numerical display of the
values measured by all active sensors.
Select the menu items » Settings \ Instrument Info \ Leakage mode «

in this order, pressing the »
Select the desired sensor and press the »

- When the status » enable « is active for a sensor, a graphical
display of the values measured by the selected sensor appears in
measuring mode instead of the numerical display of the values
measured by all active sensors.
- If the sensor is selected again and the »
the sensor is deactivated and the leakage mode is exited.
7.2.2

Tracking mode

- This function is used to activate a track sound (similar to that of
a Geiger counter).
Select the menu items » Settings \ Instrument Info \ Tracking mode «


- As the measured value increases, the track-sound pulses are
generated at shorter and shorter intervals, becoming a continuous
sound at the full-scale value of the measuring range. The measuring
range is automatically changed from, for example, 0 to 1000 ppm to
a range of 1000 to 2000 ppm in order to provide a higher resolution.
- If a gas alarm is generated by any of the active measuring
channels while measurements are being made, the leakage mode
is automatically terminated.

Date and time

- This function is used to set the date and / or time.
Select the menu items » Settings \ Instrument \ Date and time « in

