Checksum error: instrument init.

Cause
#1: The instrument has detected an internal error. Carry out basic initialisation, page 62.
The data connection to the power pack is open-
circuit.
(It may be that the screws are not tightened
correctly)
The air in which fresh-air calibration was carried
out was not free of contamination. (e.g. CO
content too high)
N was used for fresh air calibration

The results of mixed-gas calibration were invalid
(possibly a sensor at the end of its life)
Mixed gas calibration for O sensor was carried

out with a mixed gas which did not contain O
The sensor self-test has detected a fault in
the sensor
The instrument has found a fault in the IR sensor.
#126: IR signal too low
Remedy
Note: All settings made with the menu will reset
to the factory settings.
Carry out instrument initialisation, switch the
instrument off and on again or remove and
reconnect the power pack.
Remove the power pack and connect it correctly.
Repeat fresh-air calibration in clean air.
Repeat fresh-air calibration in clean air.
Inspect the sensors and replace any faulty ones.
Use a suitable test gas and compare the
concentration information on the test gas

cylinder with the concentration specified for
the instrument.
Switch the device off and on again. If the fault
is still displayed on the instrument, contact
DrägerService.
Switch the device off and on again.
Replace IR sensor, page 83.
