The menu » Calibration « contains all functions needed for the
calibration and adjustment of the installed sensor.
Instructions for the handling of calibration gas and calibration
accessories can be found in the section "Maintenance", page 78.

Fresh air calibration

- Calibration in fresh air can be carried out in order to improve the
zero-point accuracy of the instrument.
- Calibrate the instrument in fresh air which is free of the gases to
be measured and gases which could interfere with the calibration.
Do not calibrate the instrument indoors (in a workshop, office, etc.)
as the CO level may be higher.

- All sensors which can be calibrated – no warning icon »
the display - are included in the fresh-air calibration. Faulty sensors
and sensors which have not yet warmed up are skipped.
- Fresh air calibration adjusts the zero points of all sensors
(except the sensors for oxygen and CO
For the oxygen sensor only, the sensitivity is set to 20.9 Vol.-% O
In menu mode:
Select » Calibration « and press the »

Select » Fresh air cal. « and press the »

- Display message: » Starting fresh-air calibration «
Select » Calibration « and press the »

- The message » Fresh-air calibration is running ! Please wait. is
displayed. . «
- Successful fresh-air calibration is indicated by the display » ok «
for each sensor.
An error is indicated in the case of any fault, such as a sensor or
instrument fault, if the sensor is not yet warmed up or if the data and
time have not been set. If this happens:
