Cause
#104: Long-term drift of the sensor.
The instrument has found a fault in the IR sensor.
#118: IR sensor faulty.
There is no valid zero-point calibration.
#106: Zero-point calibration was not completed
successfully (e.g. no suitable zero gas used/
CAT sensor was exposed to nitrogen)
#123: Fault during calibration
The instrument has detected a fault in the sensor.
#108: Inconsistent sensor data.
#133: Measuring signal is outside of the
permitted range.
The CatEx sensor needs oxygen for correct
operation. If insufficient oxygen is available,
the sensor cannot measure correctly.
The date and/or time are set to invalid values
Storage space for data logging (up to 90 %) full Read out the contents of the data logger
The warming-up time of the sensors may vary,
depending on the ambient conditions
Remedy
Carry out fresh air calibration / zero-point
calibration.
Switch the instrument off then on again,
or remove and reconnect the power pack.
If necessary, replace the IR sensor. If the fault is
still displayed, contact DrägerService.
Repeat zero-point calibration with a suitable
zero gas.
Carry out zero-point calibration with a suitable
zero gas.
Repeat the calibration procedure or disconnect
and reconnect the power pack. If the fault
still exists, change the sensor or inform
DrägerService.
Switch the device off and on again. If the fault
is still displayed on the instrument, contact
DrägerService.
Replace the sensor, page 83.
Use an IR-Ex sensor in atmospheres with O
deficiency.
Set the date and time correctly.
(with the software GasVision) and / or clear the
data logger, see page 70.
Wait until the sensor has warmed up.
