1 ) Remove the upper handlebar cover.
2 ) Connect the (- - - - - ) pole of the 12V battery (1) to the "S" terminal of the indicator by means of a jumper.
3 ) Connect the (+ + + + + ) pole of the battery to the "+" terminal of the indicator.
4 ) Turn the key switch to "ON".
5 ) Check that the needle moves up to 4/4.
6 ) If needle does not move or stops before reaching maximum level, replace indicator.

1 ) Check for continuity of the grey
set to OHM. Also check for continuity of the red
cable fitted into the key switch connector by means of a tester set to OHM.
2 ) Further check that the black
earthed.
3 ) Check fuel level sensor (or feeler).
4 ) Take off the two-way connector from the sensor.
5 ) With a wire, "bridge" the harness connector: if the needle moves to 4/4, replace the feeler.

2 ) Brancher, au moyen d'un câble, le pôle (- - - - - ) de la batterie 12V (1) à la borne "S" de l'instrument.
3 ) Brancher le pôle (+ + + + + ) de la batterie à la borne "+" de l'instrument.
4 ) Commutateur à clé en position "ON".
5 ) V é r i f i e r s i l ' a i g u i l l e a t t e i n t 4 / 4 .
6 ) Si elle ne se déplace pas ou si elle s'arrête avant d'atteindre le niveau maximum, remplacer l'instrument.

2 ) Conectar, por medio de un cable, el polo (- - - - - ) de la batería 12V (1) al borne "S" del instrumento.
3 ) Conectar el polo (+ + + + + ) de la batería al borne "+" del instrumento.
4 ) Conmutador de llave en pos. "ON".
5 ) Verificar si la aguja alcanza 4/4.
6 ) Si no se desplaza o si se para antes de alcanzar el nivel máximo, substituir el instrumento.

5 ) Utilizar un cable y "puentear" sobre el conectador del cableado: si la aguja del indicador se posiciona en
4/4, substituir la sonda.
