5.4 Basic information on assembly

The electrical connection may only be made by an electrician. When doing so, local regulations and
VDE 0100 must be taken into consideration. A main (emergency off) switch must be installed on site
in the power supply for the control system.
• Set the main (emergency off) switch to Off. For safety reasons, a ground fault circuit interrupter
(30 mA) must be integrated into the power supply. All touching metal parts must be included in
potential equalisation.
Some of the required connectors for the individually set peripheral devices are listed in chapter 6.4.
Nevertheless, the circuit diagrams enclosed with this instruction manual must be observed for
electrical connections.

Have you read and understood this instruction manual – particularly the chapter Safety?
You must not operate this system before you have done so!
The system may be damaged otherwise. There is a danger to the life and limb of the operator otherwise.

6.3 Menu structure

The menu structure is subdivided into four main menus with the respective submenus. They are shown
in the table below. The parameters can only be changed in the menus highlighted in orange if the service
level is active. Depending on which peripheral devices have been set up in the control system, not all
submenus will appear. For example, the menu "FC settings" only appears if the pump type has been set up
with a frequency converter.
