4 Before installation
Unpacking inspection
▶ Determine the route to move the unit to the installation site.
▶ First unseal and unpack the unit. Use the holding fixtures (4 pieces)
to move the unit. Do not apply force to other parts of the unit,
especially the refrigerant piping, water discharge piping, and plastic
parts.
▶ Carry out a unpacking inspection to confirm whether the packaging
materials are in good condition, whether the accessories included in
the package are complete, whether the appearance of the air
conditioner is intact, and whether the surfaces of parts, such as the
heat exchanger, are worn. At the same time, check whether there are
oil stains on the stop valve of the unit.
▶ Check the two sealing nuts of the refrigerant pipe, and observe
whether the red dot on the surface of the air duct sealing nut
protrudes. If it protrudes, it indicates that the pipeline of the machine
is well sealed; if it is dented, it indicates that the pipeline leaks. In the
latter case, contact the dealer.
▶ Be sure to check the model of the machine before installation.

Purpose
Thermal insulation and anti-condensation effect of piping connections

▶ After the inspection of both indoor and outdoor units is completed,
pack them in plastic bags to prevent foreign objects from entering
the unit.

Take out the packaging materials in the volute (some models)
1. Push the cardboard inward to avoid jamming it.
