17. Troubleshooting
The following table shows fault symptoms and describes remedial measures in the event of your machine failing to
work properly. If you cannot localise and rectify the problem with this, please contact your service workshop.
Fault Cause
Automatic oil cut-off trips
Spark plug sooty
No fuel
Engine cannot
Device battery is flat

Air filter dirty
Electronics defective.
Power genera-
tor insufficient Overload protection switch tripped.
or no voltage
Air filter dirty.
Measure
Check oil level, fill with engine oil
Clean or replace spark plug.
Top up with fuel.
If the device's battery is empty, the engine can only be
started using the pull starter.
If the battery is deeply discharged, proceed as de-
scribed in sections 12.2 and 11.4.
Clean or replace the air filter.
Repair by an authorised service centre.
Restart the power generator, reduce consumers.
Clean or replace the air filter.
