Checking the scope of delivery
When you get your machine, make sure you check the following:
•
that all parts are there as per the scope of delivery (see Chapter 6.2,
"Scope of delivery")
•
that the individual components and their packaging are undamaged
If the machine or packaging is damaged or components are missing, contact
the manufacturer or dealer immediately and do not use the machine.

Transportation
NOTICE
Damage due to improper transportation
The machine may become damaged if not transported properly.
• Only use the original packaging for transportation.
• Make sure that the machine is upright, if possible on a pallet, during
transportation.
• Do not place any other heavy objects on the packaging.
• Stack a maximum of 3 packages on top of one another.
• Protect the machine from the elements (e.g. snow, rain, frost, direct
sunlight).
Carry out the following steps to transport the machine. Due to the weight of
the machine, it is recommended that two people transport the machine:
1.
Switch off the machine (see Chapter 9.2.1, "Switching the machine on
and off") and disconnect the mains plug from the mains.
2.
Drain all water out of the machine (see Chapter 11.6, "Emptying the
steam boiler").
3.
Allow the machine to cool down.
4.
Empty the water tank.
5.
Clean the machine and accessories (see Chapter 11, "Cleaning") and
allow them to dry.
6.
Insert the accessories in the corresponding cut-outs in the original
foam insert.
7.
Pack the machine with the original plastic cover.
8.
Lift the machine from underneath using both hands and pack it in the
original box.
9.
Transport the machine to the desired location.
