Brew settings - setting via brew buttons
As an alternative to setting via the menu, the brew parameters can also be
set directly by pressing the desired brew button.
Preparatory steps
1.
Make sure that the water tank is filled with water.
2.
The brewing process begins when the settings are made. It is therefore
recommended to fill the portafilter with ground coffee and clamp it in
the machine.
Activating or deactivating pre-infusion

Setting the brew time with activated pre-infusion
After pre-infusion has been activated for the desired brew button ("ON"):
1.
Briefly press the same brew button.
The LED of the brew button flashes and the timer that programs the

duration from the start of pre-infusion starts on the display.
2.
After the desired time has elapsed, press the brew button again.
The icon "---" for passive pre-infusion appears on the display.

After the desired pre-infusion time has elapsed, press the brew button
a third time.
The LED of the button flashes and the timer for the brew time resumes

on the display.
4.
After the desired time has elapsed, press the brew button for a final
time.
The brew button is now programmed with the desired brew time.

Press the top brew button.
The setting for the option "Shot Time" flashes.
Set and confirm the desired total duration for the
brewing process.
Program the remaining settings in the same way.
Press and hold the desired brew button for 4 seconds.
The LED of the brew button flashes and "ON" (pre-
infusion activated for this button) or "OFF" (pre-infusion
deactivated for this button) appears on the display
depending on the current setting.
