15 Shutdown, dismantling, and storage
15.1
Shutting down the machine
1.
Switch off the machine using the on/off button.
The LED ring goes out.

Disconnect the mains plug from the mains.

Dismantling the machine
1.
Empty the machine (see Chapter 11.6, "Emptying the steam boiler").
2.
Shut down the machine.
3.
Allow the machine to cool down completely.
4.
Remove the grid from the drip tray.
5.
Pull the drip tray out of the device.
6.
Remove the blind filter from the drip tray holder.
7.
Drain water from the water tank.
15.3 Storage
NOTICE
Danger due to improper storage
The machine may become damaged and its functioning impaired if not
stored properly.
• Only store the machine once the boiler has been fully emptied.
• Do not tilt the machine or place it on its head in the packaging.
• Pack the machine correctly and store it in a dry environment.
• Stack a maximum of three packages on top of one another.
• Do not place any other heavy objects on the packaging.
• Do not store at subzero temperatures.
Proceed as follows when storing the machine:
1.
Dismantle the machine.
2.
Pack the machine and accessories in their original packaging.
3.
Store at the desired location.
