There is the risk of a fatal electric shock if cleaning is not done properly.
• Switch off the machine, take the plug out of the socket, and allow the
machine to cool to room temperature before performing any cleaning
work.
• Never submerge the machine under water.

There is the risk of injury due to hot surfaces.
• Allow the machine and associated components to cool down completely
before performing any cleaning work.
Only perform the cleaning work set out in these operating instructions.
Improper cleaning could damage the machine and accessories.
For cleaning:
•
Only use a soft, moistened, non-abrasive cloth.
•
Do not use scouring agents or cleaning products that contain chlorine!

Cleaning the portafilter, silicone attachment, and filters
Clean the portafilter, silicone attachment, and filters daily. Do not put the
portafilter in the dishwasher.
Removing the filter from the portafilter
1.
Hold the portafilter in one hand.
2.
Use the other hand to remove the filter from the holder.
Tip: The filters fit very tightly in the portafilter so that they cannot fall out
during operation. If the filter is very hard to take out, it is recommended that
you use your fingers to grip under the edge of the filter and then press it out
of the holder.
