F2 key "LOAD"
F3 key "SAVE"
F5 key "CAL-0"
The LOAD routine called here with the F2 key is used in the
same way as the functions described on page 14.
Reading in and comparing multiple signals
Since it is now possible to display up to 8 channels, 3 new
functions have been added to the CALC menu. These are
COPY, MOVE and DELETE. With them, single channels can
be copied or moved to unused areas, or also deleted. Data
read in from the oscilloscope are always initially stored in
channels 1 and 2.
It is also possible to load data from files (on a diskette or
the hard disk); to do so, select MENU
3, F2 "LOAD". The
data imported in this way can then serve as reference
signals. Be careful in your choice of channels. Obviously,
data additionally loaded into channels can overwrite data
already stored there. If channels 1, 2,3 and 4 are in use, and
if a file is loaded with channels 3, 4, 5 and 6, then channels
3 and 4 will be overwritten.
Attention: If the structure (memory depth and parameter
values) of the currently loaded data is not identical with
that of the new data, then when they are loaded all
existing evaluation channels will be deleted. It is therefore
advisable to first save the current data to a diskette or the
hard disk before loading reference signal data. This applies
particularly to single- event measurement data.
Pressing the F3 key opens a window containing a (partial
view of a) directory of stored oscillograms. By selecting
with the cursor keys, an already existing file name can be
reused. When entering a new name, please observe the
following: if the name of a subdirectory is entered, this has
the effect of changing to that subdirectory, whereupon the
program again awaits entry of a name for saving data.
Conclude entry by pressing RETURN, whereupon the data
record is stored. The save mode is allways binary.
See also the illustration of the AUTO-SAVE
window on
page 13.
The CAL-0 routine called by pressing F5 in this menu
is
identical to that described on page 15.
