Operation
In the various entry windows,
a number
of different
settings or selections can be made at the same time. The
indicated keys must always be used throughout. The keys
used for this are ESC, TAB, SHIFT + TAB, SPACE and
RETURN. You can use the TAB key to advance from one
field to the next. SHIFT + TAB always takes you back to the
first field in the window.

Exit the menu without saving the changes made

Advance to the next field
Cursor UP/Cursor DOWN to select an option
SPACE to turn the displayed option OFF or ON. Or use the
TAB key to exit the selected option, whereby the last item
is automatically switched on. The active options are marked
by a dot or a highlight. By pressing the RETURN key, the
marked options are saved.
The following must be observed: if the setting procedure
has not yet been completely run through, then neither will
all of the set parameters be saved. This applies in particular
to the SAVE: routine.
The following
holds for manipulation
of the CURSOR:
simultaneously
pressing
the CTRL
key and a CURSOR
(arrow) key causes the active cursor to move more rapidly.
In the C-MOVE mode (called with the F5 key "WINDOW'),
the PgUp and PgDn keys can be used to move the zoomed
window within the overall signal; the HOME and END keys
move the window to the beginning (left) and end (right) of
the overall signal, respectively.
Starting the program

The program is started by entering SCOPE. The first time
the program is used, immediately strike the
F6 key to perform the setup routine.
If this is not done, unexpected system crashes can be the
result. Changes in the help text language do not become
active until the next time that the program is started.
