Interfaces, addresses and connection cables
The PROScope
software has been written to support
various
interfaces.
Data
can
be transferred
from
the
oscilloscope to the computer
using a serial RS-232C
interface or an IEEE-488 interface. At the oscilloscope, the
HAMEG
options HO69 and HO79 are supported. At the
computer, one of the serial ports COM1: through COM4:
must be used, or alternatively one of the following IEEE
bus cards:
HAMEG® HO80
or CAPITAL
EQUIPMENT
CORP.® CEC PC-488.
Please make sure that the EPROM address of the IEEE-488
card is set to a memory location above the video RAM in
order to avoid address conflicts. The same applies to the
entry addresses
for expanded
memory.
If one
of the
above-mentioned
IEEE-488 controller cards is used, then
expanded memory
must be disabied.
