Oscilloscope
Computer
An oscilloscope equipped with the HO69 interface (a serial
interface for the HM 408) or the HO79 interface, version -
2 or higher, for optional data transfer using an IEEE or RS-
232C
interface.
An HAMEG
accessory
with part No.
HZ72 IEEE-488 cable.
The following computer configuration is required in order
to run the PROScope program: an IBM® -compatible com-
puter running under PC-DOS
or MS-DOS,
with at least
640k of RAM; an EGA or VGA graphics card with at least
128k bytes of on-card video RAM; a HAMEG® HO80, Capital
Equipment
Corp. CEC-PC<488>
IEEE-488
bus card or a
serial interface complying with the RS-232C standard; two
floppy disk drives or one floppy disk drive and a hard disk.

Coprocessor
Printer
The screen graphics comply with the EGA-standard in 16-
color mode, and will therefore run on all EGA graphics
cards with 128k bytes or more of video memory. It is also
possible to utilize VGA graphics cards, although their
greater resolution
is not supported.
Computers
with a
HERCULES® graphic-adapter are supported by a mono-
chrome emulation.
If your system uses a math coprocessor this will speed up
output of the graphics, which require a high computing
effort, to the screen and the printer. It is not essential to
have a coprocessor, however.
The
data for graphic
printouts
are output
in EPSON®
graphic
format
and
PCL
(Printer
Control
Language,
supported
by the
HP® LaserJet
li). Printouts
in Epson
graphic format
are
made
with high-resolution
in 8-bit
mode. The PCL mode may be used with a HP LaserJet or
DeskJet printer. The PCL-mode is only for screen-hardcopy.
