Baseline offsets
mode, the displayed
measurement
values are output
either referenced to ZERO or
as DELTA cursor 1 to cursor 2. The values displayed in the
screen window at the right border represent the amplitude,
already adjusted by applying the read-in or manually
entered Y (amplitude) and probe divider values. The first
time value and the frequency value represent the DELTA
betweenthetwocursors, taking account of the prestipulated
timebase. The second time value gives the (line) difference
to (+ or -) from the pretrigger setting. The upper values
represent the time difference between the cursors and the
frequency. The lower values show the time difference to
the pretrigger setting.
For the evaluation
of amplitude
values, the reference
baseline can either be read in from the oscilloscope or
entered
manually.
The
positions
of the baselines
are
indicated by markers on the left-hand screen
border.
Pretrigger display
The PRETRG
is indicated as a second, signed value for
time. If the this value is negative, the displayed signal
section is prior to the trigger point.
Graphical display
Zoom function
Two permanent graphic windows
with different resolutions
are available.
The first window
is used for evaluating
signals with the two cursors. The second window always
displays the entire signal. At 100% display, i.e. when the
entire signal is shown in the evaluation window, all captured
measurement
points are indicated by means of multiple
juxtaposition. A graticule may be displayed on request for
measurement
purposes.
All actual cursor
positions are
indicated in the survey field, simultaneously.
In order to adjust the graphical display (512 pixels) to the
number of points in x direction provided by the oscilloscope
(1024-4096 points, depending on model), a ZOOM function
is provided. By pressing the corresponding key the width
of the zoomed section can be varied until all desired points
are displayed . The window can be positioned along the
entire length of the captured signal. At 100% display
(maximum
zoom), the currently viewed
portion
of the
signal
is indicated
in the bottom
display
window
in
reversed colors. SHIFT-F5 is used to divide the graphic
display into separate windows (up to a maximum of 8),
and to close the windows opened in this way.
