Installation and operating instructions • Wilo-SiFresh • Ed.02/2023-08
If the pump does not start operating within an interval of 24 hours (factory setting), the
system completes a pump kick. In the process, it starts briefly. The system must also always
be supplied with voltage here. You can change the pump kick interval at the pump.
In the "Diagnostics and measured values" menu
1.
"Maintenance"
2.
Select "Pump kick".
You can switch pump kicks on and off and configure the interval between 2 ... 72 hours.
For more information see the "Device settings – Pump kick" section.
The system can be flushed manually for maintenance or testing. Three options are available
here:
Valve test (3 s)
The valve opens for 3 seconds.
This function can be used to perform a function test of the
valve.
Sampling (3 min)
The valve opens for 3 minutes.
This function can be used to take a sample.
Complete system flush
All the water in the entire drinking water installation is re-
placed.
Table 24: Options for manual flushing
NOTICE
To ensure that the entire content of the drinking water installation is re-
placed, the system volume must be entered correctly (see "Settings
menu - Set control mode" → "System flush settings" section).
NOTICE
The timer for the time-controlled system flush is only reset if a complete
system flush is performed.
To ensure the solenoid valve works properly, open the valve for 3 seconds every 24 hours.
This routine is recommended in the following cases:
Time-controlled flushing is switched off.
Temperature-controlled flushing is triggered rarely or not at all.
The solenoid valve test routine can be switched on and off.
WARNING
Have faults remedied by qualified personnel only! Observe
safety instructions.
In the event of faults, fault management only provides feasible pump outputs and system
functionalities.
Any occurred faults are permanently checked and, if possible, emergency operation or con-
trol mode are activated.
Flawless operation is only resumed once the fault cause no longer applies. Example: The
electronic module is again cooled down.
Configuration warnings indicate that an incomplete or wrong configuration is preventing
execution of a desired function.
NOTICE
If the pump behaves incorrectly, check that the analogue and digital in-
puts are configured correctly.
