All requests for technical assistance must be made to the
manufacturer's Technical Assistance Service or the au-
thorised service centres.

Plant spacing: this is the distance between one seed-
ling and the next in the same row.
Distance between dual rows (A): this is the distance
between the two rows made by the same planting mod-
ule.
Cup: the container inside the dispensing unit which con-
tains the seedling; it is made up of two semi-cups.
Centre to centre between dual rows (B): i.e. the dis-
tance between the central point of one dual row and the
central point of another other dual row alongside it.
Operator: trained person in possession of the physical
requirements of ability and aptitude deemed suitable to
do the job in a reliable manner.
Routine maintenance: set of operations to restore the
conditions of correct operation and to maintain and re-
store the machine to a condition whereby it can be used
safely.
Special maintenance: maintenance required in the
event of sudden failures or to inspect the machine to
check efficiency (structural failures, permanent deforma-
tions, etc.), may only be performed by qualified, suitably
trained personnel.

General description

This work vehicle is designed and built for planting seed-
lings of various kinds (e.g. horticultural, floral, tobacco,
nursery-grown, etc.), rooted in conical or pyramid-
shaped root balls, including small plants with hardly de-
veloped leaf apparatus (see "Seedling size" schedule).

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The work vehicle is a semi-carried device, equipped with
a frame for attaching to the three-point hitch on a tractor
and it is suitable for planting in fields and greenhouses.
The planting units can be individually adjusted to suit the
soil conditions and the type of seedling to be planted.
