Adjusting the packing wheel scraper
The scraper is used to clean the packing
wheels, removing any soil and debris that
has built up.
Proceed as outlined below.
1) Loosen the screw (A).
2) Turn the scraper (B) until it reaches
the desired position.
3) Tighten the screw (A).
4) Loosen the nut (C).
5) Position the blade (D) so that it is just
touching the packing wheel.
6) Tighten the nut (C).
7) Repeat the same procedure for the
other scraper.
- Carry out the same procedure to adjust
the other planting units installed.
Adjusting the Plant Control
The Plant Control device stops the seed-
lings falling downwards before they are
ejected.
Move the device down for smaller seed-
lings and up for taller seedlings.
Proceed as outlined below.
1) Loosen the wing nut (A).
2) Adjust the device (B) as required.
3) Tighten the wing bolt (A).
- Carry out the same procedure to adjust
the other planting units installed.
Planting depth adjustment
Proceed as outlined below.
1) Use the lock (A) to release the knob.
2) Turn the knob (B) to increase or de-
crease the depth of the furrow.
3) After adjustment secure the knob (B)
with the lock (A).
- Carry out the same procedure to adjust
the other planting units installed.
