Safety advice for handling and assembly
Perform handling and transportation manoeuvres
in compliance with the information provided by the
manufacturer and stated directly on the machine, on
the packing and in the instructions for use.
Packing
The type of packing is chosen according
to the selected means of transport and
the destination.
To contain packing as much as possible,
the work vehicle machine is delivered
dismantled.
The illustration shows the size and type
of packing most commonly used.
Each pack contains one planting mod-
ule.
The frame is shipped wrapped separately
in heat shrinkable plastic film.
Handling and lifting the packed unit
WARNING
Lift the packed machine using appropriate hoisting
means for the load to lift.
Check the parcel weight stated on the packing itself.
Use the eyebolts to lift the frame only.
To lift the work vehicle, use the specific tool sup-
plied.
During lifting, watch out for the frame swinging, as
the anchorage point is not perfectly at the centre of
gravity.

The staff assigned to handling the load must have the
required ability and experience and must be skilled
in the use of the lifting means adopted.
