NOTICE
Fit the chain with the joining link posi-
tioned as shown in the figure.
8) Join the chain with the connecting
link.
NOTICE
Do not overtighten the chain as this
could cause premature wear of the
chain and the sprockets.
9)
Move the tensioner to tension the
chain correctly.
10) Tighten the nut (D).
11) Position the casing (C).
12) Position the washers (B).
13) Tighten the nuts (A).
- Carry out the same procedure to make
the replacement in the other planting
units installed
Replacing the transmission chain
Proceed as outlined below.
1) Unscrew the nuts (A).
2) Remove the casing (B).
3) Loosen the nut (C) to loosen the
chain.
4) Remove the joining link (E).
5)
Remove the chain from the pinions.
6)
Place the new chain on the tensioner
and pinions.
NOTICE
Take special care to fit the link correct-
ly and in the direction indicated in the
figure.
7)
Join the chain with the connecting
link.
NOTICE
Do not overtighten the chain as this
could cause premature wear of the
chain and the sprockets.
8)
Move the tensioner to tension the
chain correctly.
