Maintenance

Always switch off the motor and disconnect the plug
from the power supply prior to any maintenance, re-
pair or cleaning work. Repair any functional disorders
only with the drive shut down.
• Put the main switch in O position and pull the
power supply plug.
• Make sure to refit all guards and safety devices
after the repair and servicing work has been
finished.
• Keep the machine tables free from resin. Your
SCHEPPACH dealer has the product "Pharmol
resin remover concentrate Order no. 6100 9700"
available for you.
Clean and oil occasionally the rise and fall adjust-
•
ment, the bearing and the drive shaft of the spin-
dle.

Correction of the position indication

• If required, the scale can be corrected.
• Release the lateral fastening bolts on the hand
wheel.
Calibrate the scale by turning the position indica-
•
tor.
• Retighten the fastening bolt on the hand wheel
clamping it only slightly.

Changing the belt (ribbed belt)

• Natural wear can require a replacement of the
ribbed belt.
• Open the cover on the back of the machine.
• Release the belt tensioning device.
• Release the four fastening bolts (1) of the upper
spindle bearing.
• Release the three fastening bolts (2) of the lower
spindle bearing.
• Screw the moulding spindle upwards with the rise
and fall adjustment.
• Replace the ribbed belt.
• Insert the spindle. Attention: The thread of the
lower spindle bearing must align with the fastening
holes.
• Assembly of the lower and upper spindle bearing
is done in reverse sequence.
