Curved moulding fence
Use of the curved fence plates
Milling tool Ø Curved fence plate
Ø 100 - 120 mm R 60 mm
up to Ø 140 mm R 90 mm
The correct setting of the curved moulding fence fol-
lows the diameter of the milling tool as well as the
workpiece thickness and the desired milling depth

Settings
• As a general rule, the milling tool must be in the
lower position whenever it is possible. The curved
fence plate is positioned above it.
• Set the milling tool to working height.
• Set the curved fence plate (R 60 or R 90) accord-
ing to workpiece thickness and working depth.
• Lower the protection disc down to 2 mm above the
workpiece.
• Set the brushes on both sides to touch the
workpiece, so that they brush away the milling
chips during working.

Outside radii
For the milling of outside radii, guide the workpiece
along the curved fence plate. The optimum milling
depth "X" is obtained in position (3).
