The noise emission values at the work place, determined according to EN ISO 3746 (acoustic power and
pressure levels), based on operating conditions listed in ISO 7960, appendix A, are:
A measuring uncertainty coefficient of K = 4 dB applies to the emission values listed above.
Remark:
The values listed above are emission values and are, therefore, not necessarily identical with work place val-
ues. Since there is no correlation between emission values and work place values, it is possible that further
measures must be taken. Factors that can have an influence on the actual work place value are, for instance:
Duration of the impact, type of work room, other noise sources, number of machines, and other neighbouring
influences. The reliable work place values can also differ from one country to another. The information given
should enable the user, however, to get a better evaluation of danger and risks.
