Reversing switch from left to right-hand operation
The reversing switch is a "selector" for the direction of rotation.

For safety reasons, never change the direction of rotation while the motor is running. The reversing switch
•
shuts the motor down, so that it must be switched back on again.
The standard direction of rotation is anticlockwise.
Operating direction is from right to left.

If you select the clockwise direction of rotation, the green safety button must be pressed and at the same
•
time switched to "right". While the right-hand direction is selected, the yellow pilot lamp lights up.
Working direction from left to right. The moulding tool must be mounted turned round 180 degrees.

Changing the direction of rotation

When connecting to the mains supply, or when moving the spindle moulder to another place, the direction of
rotation must be checked. If required, interchange or adapt the polarity using a screw driver (socket on ma-
chine).
The electric motor installed is connected ready for use. The connection meets all the relevant VDE and DIN
regulations. The connection to the mains supply in the workshop (to be done by the customer's electrician)
must correspond with the local electrical regulations applicable.
Motor brake
When switching off the machine, an automatic countercurrent brake safely brakes the motor. The brake stops
the drive motor within ten seconds. If the braking takes longer than 10 s, the machine must not be started
again because the brake is defective. Cut the machine from the power supply by pulling the mains plug. Have
an electrician look for the defect.
