Retensioning the belt (ribbed belt)

• Open the machine cover on the back.
• Release the belt tensioning device.
• Remove the belt (1) from the motor pulley.
• Remove the clamping bolt (2) from the junction
plate (3).
• Unscrew the clamping bolt (2) about two turns.
• Re-assembly is done in reverse sequence.

Trouble shooting

For remedying malfunctions, shut down the machine. Pull the power supply plug.
Workpiece not smooth
Blunt tool
Wrong rpm
Bad wood quality
Wrong direction of rotation
Incorrect motor rotational direction
Left-turning power supply
Machine does not run
Motor of moulding spindle does not start
Moulder spindle does not brake when switched off
Fine-fuse on printed circuit of the brake defective
Printed circuit of the brake defective
Work on the electric system may only be carried out by a qualified electrician!
When disposing of the machine, observe your local environmental regulations.

Remedy
Replace tool
Set rpm acc. to operating instructions
Use good wood without knots
Actuate reversing switch
Remedy
Change polarity of the main switch (see chapter
"Changing the direction of rotation")
Remedy
Engage main switch
Check cable from power supply
Check fuses (16 Amps required)
Properly close the cover on the back of the machine
in order to actuate the limit switch
Winding thermostat interrupted-Replace the printed
circuit of the brake
Remedy
Check fine-fuse on 10 A printed circuit of the brake in
control box inside the machine
Replace printed circuit
