4. FWD/REV: Switch between forward and reverse motor rotation (when in reverse, console will emit a beeping tone).
5. AR MODE: Set the type of Auto-reverse:
A. STP – Auto-reverse "OFF":
The motor contra-angle stops without reverse rotation (Fig. 9).
B. AR – Autoreverse "Standard":
When file reaches the set torque value, the motor runs reverse until the motor has been stopped. Next start will be in Forwar d. NB: In use
only if Torque is not set on Max (Fig. 10).
C. SAR – Auto-reverse "Special":
When file reaches the set torque value, the motor runs reverse until it has freed the file. Then the motor runs again in forward. NB: In use
only if Torque is not set on Max. (Fig. 11)
NB: Beeping sound notifies user when 75% of the preset torque has been reached and when preset torque limit has been exceeded.
Always check the values before use. Danger of injury for incorrect use.
b. Reciprocating mode
In every program has been set the same information by the manufacturer (Fig. 12):
 Ratio: 16:1
 Rpm: 250 rpm
 Angle in FWD: 30°
 Angle in REV: 150°
The listed parameters are only examples. To prevent unnecessary risk, observe the guideline speeds given by the manufacturer of
the rotating instruments and the guideline given by the manufacturer of the contra-angle in use (www.satelec.com/documents).
The first row shows the:
 MODE in use: Reciprocating / Rotating
 The program: P1 to P10
The second row shows the:
 Contra-angle reduction rate.
Change Contra-angle reduction rate with "Ratio" and +/- buttons.
 Angle in Forward (right)
Change value of the Angle in forward with "FWD°" and +/- buttons
The third row shows the:
 Speed in use (left)
Change speed with "RPM" and +/- buttons
 Angle in Reverse (right)
Change value of the Angle in reverse with "REV°" and +/- buttons
 Programming the unit:
1. RATIO: Sets contra-angle reduction ratio. See the available reduction ratio in the following table:
