For the 596 Triathlon and Against the Clock, please see the ZED crank instructions.
If you are fitting a 596 Track, your frame has a crank shell threaded to the BSC standard and is
therefore only compatible with BSC crank shells.
Before fitting the crank, check that the threads are free of paint and that they are clean.
Follow the manufacturer's fitting, adjustment and maintenance instructions.
INSTALLATION OF THE SADDLE ON THE SADDLE STEM
Your frame is delivered with the new "E
Post" profiled specific saddle stem, and a
set of height adjustment spacers (one being
a shock absorption joint).
The LOOK patented saddle fixing device
provides both:
-
Continuous
forward
movement
along
with
adjustment, thanks to a groove, which
extends the total backward adjustment
range of the saddle to 50 mm),
- A lowered saddle position, an appreciable
weight gain and improved aesthetics
because of its carbon saddle clamp fitting.

NOTE: The frame is supplied with a very
long saddle tube, which must be cut
for installation of the saddle stem. The
procedure to follow for this operation is
described after the procedure for fitting
the saddle to the stem, which must be
done first.

ATTENTION:
BEFORE REMOVING THE SADDLE FROM YOUR
BICYCLE, MEASURE THE SADDLE HEIGHT "A" IN
PHOTO 1 BELOW (from the centre of the crank to
the hollow of the saddle).

All E Posts are compatible with all LOOK
frames with integrated saddle stem and the
concept is the same; only the saddle clamps
change and thus the fitting of the saddle
varies slightly.
