REMOVING THE FORK / FITTING THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPER IN PLACE
Attention: the fitting of the front brake calliper (step 4) does not apply to the 596 TRACK.
The LOOK offset aero fork conforms to the EN 14 781 standard. Before use, carefully read
the instructions fully, and follow the advice given to benefit fully from the features of this
top quality product. LOOK reserves the right to change product specifications without prior
notice in the interests of product improvement.
1. Completely undo and remove the counter
nut using an 8 mm hex. key (see the exploded
view of the headset)
2. Undo the compression screw using a 6 mm
hex. key until it clears the fork (see Fig. 1).
3. Pivot the fork around the lower bearing, to
release it from the frame (see Fig. 2).
4. Put the brake nut in place in its housing
(Fig 3), then fix the front brake calliper.
(Fig. 4) Adjust the brake blocks so that they
line up perfectly with the rim, as shown in
Fig. 5 (following the manufacturer's fitting,
adjustment and maintenance instructions).
5. Re-fit the fork (see next section)
