4.2 Combination possibilities

Depending on the patient's functional demands, the following prosthetic feet can be used: 1A30
Greissinger plus, 1D35 Dynamic Motion, 1C30 Trias, 1C40 C-Walk, 1E56 Axtion, 1E58 Axtion
DP or 1C60 Triton.
For the weight limit of prosthetic feet, please refer to the Instructions for Use of the respective
foot component.
4.3 Adjustment of swing phase control
To avoid damages, the prosthetist must use the 4X50 Adjustment Key that is provided attached to
the knee joint to adjust swing phase control! Once the knee joint has been adjusted, the prosthetist
should keep this key for future use. Resistance to flexion and extension are indepentently adjusted
by moving the pins on each side of the piston rod. The adjustment pins are only accessible via
the slots in the housing when the knee joint is flexed.
4.3.1 Adjustment of flexion (Fig. 2, Fig. 3)
3R95:
Flex the knee joint up to the stop (Fig.4).
3R95=1: Flex the knee joint up to the mark on the upper joint section (Fig. 3).
Insert the provided adjustment key into the slot on the side marked with „Flexion" and adjust
according to the scale.
Turn the key posteriorly = low flexion resistance = 0
Turn the key anteriorly = highest flexion resistance = 8
Note:
Remove the adjustment key from the slot while the knee joint is still flexed.
4.3.2 Adjustment of extension (Fig. 4, Fig. 5)
3R95:
Flex the knee joint up to the stop (Fig. 4)
3R95=1: Flex the knee joint up to the mark on the upper joint section (Fig. 5).
Insert the provided adjustment key into the slot on the side marked with „Extension" and adjust
according to the scale.
Turn the key anteriorly = low extension resistance = 0
Turn the key posteriorly = highest extension resistance = 8
Attention!
When making extension damping adjustments, make sure that the leg still completely
extends with each step.
4.4 Assembly instructions
Once alignment is complete, make sure that the 506G3 Set Screws of the adapters used have
the appropriate length. Set screws which are too short may not provide adequate stability for the
prosthesis. Screws which are too long can damage the cosmetic foam cover.
Use the 710D4 Torque Wrench to tighten the set screws. For the tightening torques please refer
to the Instructions for Use of the corresponding adapters.
Use a 3R24 or 3S124 Foam Cover to complete the prosthesis.
