lifting.(or.having.someone.lift).the.wheelchair..this.may.cause.damage.to.
the.unit..there.is.a.danger.of.a.rollover.or.fall,.especially.when.lifting.with.
someone.in.the.wheelchair..Be.sure.to.lift.with.proper.procedures.(page.
11).
(12) Portable telephones and radio communication units transmit radio waves
when in use. When using these units, be careful of the following, to prevent the
e-support from being affected by radio waves.

· When using portable telephones and other electronic devices, stop the
wheelchair in a place and turn off the power.
· Turn off the power of portable telephones and other electronic devices during
power assisted travel.
(1) Shift to the bed by following the proper procedure of getting out of the
wheelchair.

(2) Store the wheelchair in a safe place with the power turned off when it is
not in use.

(3) Charge the detached battery to prepare for the next usage (refer to page
20 for instructions on how to charge the battery).
