14. Configuration using INGECON SUN Manager
The INGECON SUN String Control unit must be configured using the INGECON SUN Manager software.
The most important settings parameters are:
•
Number of strings installed: the number of strings connected to your unit. The strings must be connected
to the lowest-numbered connectors (from left to right). The number of strings is 16 by default.
•
Rated current of each string: Insert in this field the nominal value of the current of each string in amps.
•
Average Percentage deviation: the percentage of deviation between the current of each string and the
average of the currents of the unit for which we want an alarm to trigger.
•
Time before alarm: the time that the string must provide a current above the percentage of average
deviation before the unit triggers an alarm. It is defined in seconds.
