eingestellt werden, dass entweder der gesamte Er-
fassungsbereich der Kamera für die Aktivitätserken-
nung sensibilisiert ist oder nur für jede Kamera indi-
viduell einstellbare Teilbereiche. Tritt in diesem sen-
sibilisierten Bereich dann eine Veränderung auf,
wird Alarm ausgelöst. Für jede Kamera lassen sich
zwei unabhängige Bereichseinstellungen speichern,
die in Abhängigkeit von Wochentag und Tageszeiten
unterschiedlich aktiviert werden können.
Wichtig: Alarmauslösung über den internen Bewe-
gungsmelder ist nur möglich, wenn diese
Alarmfunktion aktiviert ist (siehe Kap. 8.8,
Menüpunkt 7: Einstellung „Möglich" in der
Zeile „DSS") und die Bewegungserken-
nung eingeschaltet ist (siehe Kap. 8.9,
Menüpunkt 8: Einstellung „Möglich").
Tritt ein Alarm in der Betriebsart Live-Überwachung
auf, werden folgende Funktionen aktiviert:
- Ein Signal ertönt [sofern der Summer für diese
Alarmfunktion eingeschaltet wurde (siehe Kap.
8.8, Menü 7: Einstellung „SUM" in der Zeile
„DSS")]. Das Drücken einer beliebigen Taste be-
endet den Signalton, wenn die Tastatur nicht
über das Einstellungsmenü gesperrt wurde (sie-
he Kap. 8.10, Menüpunkt 9: Einstellung „Tasta-
tur Sperren").
- Das Alarm-Relais schaltet [sofern es für diese
Alarmfunktion aktiviert wurde (siehe Kap. 8.8,
Menüpunkt 7: Einstellung „RLY" in der Zeile
„DSS")].
- Der Spot-Monitor schaltet bei Einzelalarm auf
das Vollbild der entsprechenden Kamera. Bei
Mehrfachalarm schaltet er kontinuierlich mit dem
in Menü 7 unter „Alarm Dauer" eingestellten
Schaltintervall zwischen den Vollbildern der be-
troffenen Kameras um. Im Bild der Kamera wird
die Meldung „M" eingeblendet. [Die Änderung
der Anzeige des Spot-Monitors im Alarmfall ist
nur möglich, wenn der Spot-Monitor auf Anzeige
dieser Alarmfunktion eingestellt wurde (siehe
Kap. 8.8, Menüpunkt 7: Einstellung „HLF" in der
Zeile „DSS")].

- For recordings via the jack VCR OUT (22) or (25)
the picture rate changes (according to the set-
ting "Alarm Mode" in menu 4, chapter 8.5), and
the recording format changes (depending on
which recording format for alarm in case of mo-
tion detection was adjusted; see menu 7, chap-
ter 8.8: setting "REC" in the line "DSS").
- In the alarm protocol of the setting menu (see
chapter 8.10, menu item 9: option "Alarm History
List") and in the alarm status table (see chapter
6.2.9 "Status of the unit settings") the alarm trig-
gered is recorded: The type of alarm (sign "M" for
alarm in case of motion detection), the camera
channel concerned and the time including date
are indicated.
7.2.1
Resetting the alarm in case of
motion detection
If the alarm duration adjusted for the alarm in case of
motion detection (see chapter 8.9, menu item 8: set-
ting "Activity Hold") has elapsed, the proceedings
described above are stopped.
To stop the alarm before the end of the adjusted
time, shortly press the SELECT button (2) twice. This
possibility of stopping an alarm can be prevented in
the setting menu (see chapter 8.7, menu item 6: set-
ting "Alarm Reset Button"). Calling the setting menu
via the button MENU (1) also stops the alarm activ-
ities before the end. In case of password protection
switched on, the 4-digit code has to be entered addi-
tionally.
7.3
Alarm in case of video loss
Alarm is triggered if the video signal fails at a camera
input, e. g. by camera failure or line interruption.
Important: Alarm triggering in case of video loss is
only possible if this alarm function is ac-
tivated (see chapter 8.8, menu item 7:
setting "Enable" in the line "VLOSS").
- Der Hauptmonitor schaltet auf das im Menü 7
unter „Alarm Display" gewählte Alarm-Anzeige-
format: Ist die Option „4 x 4" gewählt, schaltet
der Monitor auf das Anzeigeformat „Mehrfach-
bild 4 x 4". Ist die Option „Voll" gewählt, schaltet
der Monitor bei Einzelalarm auf das Vollbild-For-
mat der betroffenen Kamera. Bei Mehrfachalarm
schaltet er kontinuierlich mit dem in Menü 7
unter „Alarm Dauer" eingestellten Schaltintervall
zwischen den Vollbildern der betroffenen Kame-
ras um. Im Bild der Kamera wird die Meldung „M"
eingeblendet. [Die Änderung der Anzeige des
Hauptmonitors im Alarmfall ist nur möglich, wenn
der Hauptmonitor auf Anzeige dieser Alarmfunk-
tion eingestellt wurde (siehe Kap. 8.8, Menü-
punkt 7: Einstellung „HPT" in der Zeile „DSS")].
- Für Aufzeichnungen über die Buchse VCR OUT
(22) bzw. (25) wechseln die Bildrate (entspre-
chend der Einstellung „Alarm Modus" im Menü 4,
Kap. 8.5) und das Aufzeichnungsformat (je
nachdem, welches Aufnahmeformat für Alarm
bei Bewegungserkennung eingestellt wurde;
siehe dazu Menü 7, Kap. 8.8: Einstellung „AUF"
in der Zeile „DSS").
- Im Alarmprotokoll des Einstellungsmenüs (siehe
Kap. 8.10, Menüpunkt 9: Option „Alarm History
Liste") und in der Alarm-Statustabelle (siehe
Kap. 6.2.9 „Status der Geräteeinstellungen")
wird die Alarmauslösung registriert: Angegeben
werden die Art des Alarms (Kennzeichen „M" für
Alarm bei Bewegungserkennung), der betrof-
fene Kamerakanal und der Zeitpunkt, einschließ-
lich Datum.
7.2.1
Alarm bei Bewegungserkennung
zurücksetzen
Wenn die für den Alarm bei Bewegungserkennung
eingestellte Alarmdauer (siehe Kap. 8.9, Menü-
punkt 8: Einstellung „Aktivität Pause") verstrichen ist,
werden die oben beschriebenen Vorgänge beendet.
Zum Beenden des Alarms vor Ablauf der einge-
stellten Zeit die SELECT-Taste (2) zweimal, kurz
nacheinander, drücken. Diese Möglichkeit des Ab-
bruchs eines Alarms kann im Einstellungsmenü ver-

are activated:
- The LED above the numerical key (15) of the
corresponding camera flashes.
- On the main monitor and on the spot monitor the
message "VLOSS" is inserted in the picture of
the corresponding camera.
- A signal sounds [as far as the buzzer for this
alarm function was switched on (see chapter
8.8, menu item 7: setting "BUZ" in the line
"VLOSS")]. By pressing any desired button the
signal sound is stopped unless the keyboard
was locked via the setting menu (see chapter
8.10, menu item 9: setting "Key Lock").
- The alarm relay switches [as far as it was activat-
ed for this alarm function (see chapter 8.8, menu
item 7: setting "RLY" in the line "VLOSS")].
- If the spot monitor was adjusted to the display of
this alarm function (see chapter 8.8, menu item 7:
setting "S.M" in the line "VLOSS"), it switches in
case of individual alarm to the (missing) full
screen picture of the corresponding camera. In
case of multiple alarm it switches continuously
between the (missing) full screen pictures of the
cameras concerned with the switching interval
adjusted in menu 7 under "Alarm Dwell".
- The main monitor switches to the alarm display
format selected in menu 7 under "Alarm Dis-
play": if the option "4 x 4" is selected, the monitor
switches to the display format "Multiple picture
4 x 4". If the option "Full" is selected, the monitor
switches in case of individual alarm to the (miss-
ing) full screen picture of the camera concerned.
In case of multiple alarm it switches continuously
between the (missing) full screen pictures of the
cameras concerned with the switching interval
adjusted in menu 7 under "Alarm Dwell". [Chan-
ging the display of the main monitor in case of
alarm is only possible if the main monitor was
adjusted to the display of this alarm function (see

7.3
Alarm bei Bildverlust
Alarm wird ausgelöst, wenn an einem Kameraein-
gang das Videosignal ausfällt, z. B. durch Kamera-
ausfall oder Leitungsunterbrechung.
Wichtig: Alarmauslösung bei Bildverlust ist nur
möglich, wenn diese Alarmfunktion akti-
viert ist (siehe Kap. 8.8, Menüpunkt 7: Ein-
stellung „Möglich" in der Zeile „VLOSS").
Bei Alarmauslösung werden folgende Funktionen
aktiviert:
- Die Leuchtdiode über der Nummerntaste (15)
der entsprechenden Kamera blinkt.
- Auf dem Hauptmonitor und auf dem Spot-Moni-
tor wird im Bild der entsprechenden Kamera die

(fehlende) Vollbild der entsprechenden Kamera.
Bei Mehrfachalarm schaltet er kontinuierlich mit
dem in Menü 7 unter „Alarm Dauer" eingestellten

stopped.
To stop the alarm before the end of the adjusted
time, shortly press the SELECT button (2) twice. This
possibility of stopping an alarm can be prevented in
the setting menu (see chapter 8.7, menu item 6: set-
ting "Alarm Reset Button"). Calling the setting menu
via the button MENU (1) also stops the alarm activi-

The inserted message "VLOSS" is, however, main-
tained for the duration of the actual video loss.
Note: If the option "Video Loss Latch" is adjusted
(see chapter 8.8, menu item 7), it is only pos-
sible to reset the insertion "VLOSS" in the
camera picture concerned and the flashing
LED above the corresponding numerical key
(15) by calling the setting menu [i.e. by press-
ing the button MENU (1)]. With the password
protection switched on, the 4-digit code has to
be entered additionally.
