Für die drei Alarmarten, „externer Alarm" („Exter-
nal"), „Alarm bei Bewegungserkennung" („DSS" =
„dynamic scene sensing") und „Alarm bei Bildver-
lust" („VLOSS" = „video loss") können jeweils fol-
gende Einstellungen vorgenommen werden:
Unter „Möglich" wird eingestellt, ob die Alarmart
generell zugelassen („ON") oder gesperrt („OFF")
ist, oder ob sie nur in den weiter unten einstellbaren
Zeiten zugelassen ist („Timers").
Hinweis: Ist für die Alarmart „DSS" unter „Möglich"
der Wert „ON" gewählt, wird diejenige Be-
wegungserkennungskonfiguration („Mo-
dus 1" oder „Modus 2") verwendet, die zu-
camera pictures. If the picture sequence to be re-

camera numbers 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 1, 3, 4, 6, etc.,
the picture sequence for the cameras 1 and 3 in

"ONY" (="only"):
For the duration of the alarm only the cameras
are recorded for which an alarm was triggered.
This setting is not recommended as for the dura-
tion of the alarm the remaining camera pictures
will not be recorded.
Note: If the option "ONY" is adjusted for both alarm
functions "External" and "DSS", the cameras
are recorded for which alarm was triggered by
external alarm detectors as well as the cam-
eras for which alarm was triggered by the in-
ternal motion detector.
"UCD" (= "unchanged"):
The composition of the video multiplex signal for
the recording by the video recorder does not
change in case of alarm.

"DSS", or "VLOSS") with the button

3. Select successively the parameters of the type of
alarm with the button

For "Timer1" and "Timer2", time periods during
which an alarm is admitted can be defined for the
types of alarm for which the adjustment "Timers"
was selected under "Enable". In addition, it is possi-
ble to define for the type of alarm "DSS" (alarm in
case of motion detection) which motion detection
scheme will be valid for this period ("Mode1" or
"Mode2", for the adjustment of these modes see
chapter 8.9, menu item 8: "Dynamic Scene Sensing
Setup").
Note: If the adjustment "Timers" is selected for
"DSS", and if the time of the alarm is in the pe-
riod of "Timer1" and "Timer2", and "Timer1"
and "Timer2" differ regarding the selection of

Unter „RLY" wird bestimmt, ob bei Auftreten eines
Alarms dieser Art das Alarmrelais schalten soll

Hinweis: Ist für die Alarmfunktion „DSS" das Relais
auf „OFF" gestellt, schaltet das Gerät im
Alarmfall nicht auf den in Menü 4 (Kap. 8.5)
unter „Alarm Modus" gewählten Alarm-
aufnahmemodus um.
Unter „SUM" wird bestimmt, ob bei Auftreten eines
Alarms dieser Art ein Signalton zu hören sein soll
(„EIN") oder nicht („AUS").
Unter „HPT" wird bestimmt, ob bei Auftreten eines
Alarms dieser Art der Hauptmonitor auf das unter
„Alarm Display" gewählte Anzeigeformat umschal-
ten soll („EIN") oder nicht („AUS").

Die Bilder der Kameras, für die ein Alarm anliegt,
werden mit erhöhter Häufigkeit gegenüber den
übrigen Kamerabildern an den Videorecorder ge-
sendet. Ist die aufzuzeichnende Bildsequenz
z. B. im Normalfall je ein Bild der Kameranum-
mern 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 1, 3, 4, 6 usw. wird die Bild-
folge bei Alarm für die Kameras 1 und 3 in 1, 3, 4,
1, 3, 6, 1, 3, 8, 1, 3, 9, 1, 3, 4, 1, 3 usw. geändert.
„ONY" (= „only"):
Es werden für die Dauer des Alarms nur die Ka-
meras aufgezeichnet, für die ein Alarm ausgelöst
wurde. Diese Einstellung wird nicht empfohlen,
da für die Dauer des Alarms die übrigen Kamera-
bilder nicht mit aufgenommen werden.

nung) festlegen, welches Bewegungserkennungs-
schema für diesen Zeitraum gelten soll („Modus1"
oder „Modus2", für die Einstellung dieser Modi siehe
Kap. 8.9, Menüpunkt 8: „Bewegungsmelder").
Hinweis: Ist bei „DSS" die Einstellung „Timers" ge-
wählt und fällt der Alarmzeitpunkt in die
Zeiträume von „Schaltuhr1" und „Schalt-
uhr2" und unterscheiden sich „Schaltuhr1"
und „Schaltuhr2" bei der Wahl des Bewe-
gungserkennungsschemas („Modus1" und
„Modus2"),

"Alarm Latch" indicates if an external alarm is still
to be indicated beyond the alarm duration adjusted
under "External Hold". If this option is activated
("ON"), the alarm relay, the alarm buzzer, the alarm
display mode, and the alarm recording mode are
reset after the alarm duration has elapsed, but the
screen insertion "ALARM" in the corresponding
camera picture and the flashing of the LED above
