spot monitor shows, independent of the main moni-
tor, any desired camera or several cameras in auto-
matic sequential switching in full screen format. To
switch to the spot monitor selection mode, press the
SET button (14) and then the button 2nd (13). The

numerical key to select a full screen camera picture

Spot-Monitor

Alle bisher beschriebenen Anzeigeformate bezogen
sich auf den Hauptmonitor an der Buchse MAIN (18)
bzw. (26). Zusätzlich verfügt der TVMP-1600COL
über einen zweiten Monitorausgang SPOT (23). Zur
Live-Überwachung zeigt der Spot-Monitor, unab-
hängig vom Hauptmonitor, eine beliebige Kamera
oder mehrere Kameras in automatischer Weiter-
schaltung (Sequenzschaltung) im Vollbild-Format
an. Zum Schalten in den Spot-Monitor-Auswahl-
modus die SET-Taste (14) und anschließend die
2nd-Taste (13) drücken. Die LEDs neben den Tasten
leuchten. Dann durch Drücken einer Nummerntaste
ein Kamera-Vollbild oder durch Drücken der Taste
(10) und anschließendes Drücken der Nummern-

taste „1" oder „2" eine der beiden im Einstellungs-
menü programmierbaren Sequenzen auswählen.
Der Auswahlmodus für den Spot-Monitor bleibt er-
halten bis erneut die SET-Taste gedrückt wird.

Alarm Functions

The multiplexer has three different types of alarm:
- External alarm (alarm triggering by external
alarm detectors)
- Alarm in case of motion detection (alarm trigger-
ing by the integrated motion detector)
- Video loss alarm (alarm triggering by losing the
video signal)
All alarm settings are made via the setting menu
(see chapter 8 "Changing of the Unit Settings").
7.1

External alarm

As soon as one of the connected external alarm de-
tectors responds, alarm will be triggered.
Important: Alarm triggering via external alarm detec-
tors is only possible if this alarm function is
activated (see chapter 8.8, menu item 7:
setting "Enable" in the line "External").
If an alarm occurs in the operating mode of live sur-
veillance, the following functions are activated:
- The LED above the numerical key (15) of the
corresponding camera flashes.
- On the main monitor and on the spot monitor, the
message "ALARM" is inserted in the picture of
the corresponding camera.
- A signal sounds [as far as the buzzer for this
alarm function was switched on (see chapter
8.8, menu item 7: setting "BUZ" in the line "Ex-
ternal")]. By pressing any desired button the sig-
nal sound is stopped unless the keybord was
locked via the setting menu (see chapter 8.10,
menu item 9: setting "Key Lock").
- The alarm relay switches [as far as it was acti-
vated for this alarm function (see chapter 8.8,
menu item 7: setting "RLY" in the line "Exter-
nal")].
- In case of individual alarm the spot monitor
switches to the full screen picture of the corre-
sponding camera. In case of multiple alarm it
switches continuously between the full screen
pictures of the cameras concerned with the
